YAMN is an anonymous remailer network designed to make traffic analysis harder. Messages are wrapped in layers, delayed, reordered and forwarded through independently operated remailers before final delivery.
A separate direction of evolution
YAMN and Yamnweb are not the same project. Current YAMN is the remailer software and network represented by the crooks/yamn implementation. Yamnweb is a separate Virebent project that uses Nym Network as an added transport layer before handing an encrypted packet to the existing YAMN network.

Victor forwards, it does not exit.
Victor operates as a YAMN v2 middle-only remailer. Each hop can remove only the layer required to discover and prepare the next hop. Victor is therefore a forwarding component, not the final SMTP delivery component.
